Hi, met you briefly in 2007 at breakie staying at UVH! Good to hear you're feeling better and hope all goes well for you.
Stayed at BGH last year. Resort is lovely with the new pools etc.. Boardwalk restaurant is really great and overlooks the beach. Hotel is total beachfront so you can sit at front pool, restaurant and see down beach or sunset. Only thing is that the rooms are pretty tired. First thought was ewwwhhhh when we walked in but it did grow on us. I would definitely stay again but it seems to have outpriced itself, for us anyway. Staff were lovely and a good mix of different nationalities staying there. There is a pool bar or the sunset one near the beach where you could have a drink and chat. Lots of different ages were staying there. Don't know about romantic but really lovely grounds etc.. B/f was good with no complaints from us.
