On the right hand page in your passport opposite your photo and
details it will tell you whether or not you are in possession of
an ePassport.
Dunno where you are but in Perth instead of queueing for the Customs
counter there are large green machines on the left hand side which
eliminate the wait.
All you do is to put the passport in open at your photo and details
page, stand on the footmarks, push the passport in and look at the
camera. When it clears your passport comes back you take a ticket
from the machine and walk through. It's that simple.
I went through in record time yesterday, was asked if I had anything
for Quarantine, said no and was directed straight out. No queue.
