material that you can get for this is "American Sunbrella".
Most of the synthetic rattan places will give quotes on this, and have sample books.
It will be double the price of "local" heavy duty covers, but its certainly the way to go for UV resistance, washability etc.
There are several places on Sunset Rd (Same main Rd as Carrefour), and I have had removeable Sunbrella covered cushions or squabs made there, and they are excellent quality.
