Hi,

I answered to that last post but maybe it was after you read it. They usually have a "invite only" service at the consulate. Its mostly for the family and friends of loved ones injured or who passed in the bombings (but not exclusively) You can email the consulate and get an invite if you wish. Its a very official service. Other wise you can go to the memorial at the actual site (legian) from about 7pm I think the service starts. The memorial area will be pretty busy all day. Last year when we brought some flowers early in the morning, there were tv cameras, reporters etc everywhere just dying for interviews. It is usually very busy for the memorial service at night so you may want to ge there a bit earlier.. You can bring flowers, offering etc to leave at the site if you wish.. I believe there is also a service on the beach at kuta/legian but I have never attended that one..
