Thanks for your interst Carlos. Have travelled extensively so I hope we're ready. We have put off travelling here until we felt we were prepared as we have always felt a lure to go to India.
We are totally fascinated by the history and cultures of India. We are starting out in Delhi and then doing all the usual suspects throughout Rajasthan - Sikandra, Agra, Jaipur etc. The pinnicle for us will be ending our time in India in Varanasi- LOL - didn't mean that literally but hey it would save us rebirth wouldn't it. We are considering it a "taster" to see how we cope as there are so many places we would like to see in the south as well. Our son has travelled to India for business and we were so envious.
I will leave my email open if there are any tips, hints, must see etc that you might have to share off the forum. We like going to the non-touristy markets etc,. Thanks again for your interest, just heightens my excitement of travelling there all the more.
