Malaysian rather than Indonesian processes, I cant recall my religion ever being questioned. Mind you most of the paperwork was in Malay!! But it is a legal marrage.

I did have to do some leg work prior to leaving, we needed a certificate from the Dept of births deaths and marrages to say that their records show that neither of us were already married. I had to get some documents certified by the Malaysian consol in Perth. The only things that were asked of us was to make sure the men had long sleeves and trousers and that my dress wants too "risque".
