Hot and Humid, 8225 this morning for exchange Aus dollars, big mix up at Jetstar checkin, we had booked over a year ago, had requested row 4, aisle seats, 2 adults. We actually got row 28, 1 row back from the back. Told that is because families get sat at the front...what a load of bull...excuse language, I complained was told to let Jetstar know by email, said I'd be emailing them as soon as landing in Bali, when boarding...first to board because at the back, I complained again and said I'd be checking who was in "my" seats and it better be a plane full of families and kids if I was that far from row 4. Believe it or not after we sat, a supervisor boarded the plane and we got moved to row 2...row 2 and a spare seat between us. Our originally seats were empty for the whole flight. I hated whinging but it got us what I wanted and that was front of plane. Apparently even if you book your unpaid seats on the net nothing is guaranteed and that it was in the itinary, I checked mine, nothing mentioned about no guarantee of seats.
Got my fish scales taken off me at Perth, pointy end, we've brought these over the last 4 trips in our hand luggage and no problems, just wasn't going to be our day.
No health check cards to fill in.
Landed 1/2 hour early, all safe and sound and even if the seating was stuffed up to start with Jetstar got us there.

Son arrived later that night via Garuda no problems. Daughter followed earlier today AirAsia no problems.
Already having a wonderful time, our plans for our house have been drawn up, road, access road and boundary walls done at our block of land, yet to travel to see them. Got the scooter, brilliant meal at Dayu 2, cheap and filling. Good lunch at Ida today, no water supplied anymore, breakfast better, now have a few danishes, platter of fruits, noodles buffett plus usual eggs, bacon, sausages, toast.
Room is really clean, cool,massage girls now wearing uniform, very nice. A few trainees in the dining area and really nice, trying hard, good on the management for giving them a go.
Sorry dragged out, mumbled on, kids using computers, thanks Frank at Gloria Jeans, I've got the laptop but kids want that too. Tommorow will set up tethering laptop to i-phone if we get time so we can use at the hotel. Any questions ask away, will be on most days.
