My daughters and their dad booked in to the townhouses yesterday after 6 ights in Seminyak and 5 in Ubud. Now they absolutely loved their small hotels in Seminyak and Ubud - in fact my daughter said everyone in Monkey Forest Road knew her and her sister and called out to them every day. She was in her element with all the attention. Last night I messaged her about Kuta as she and her dad had already decided they didn't want to stay in Kuta for 7 nights anymore but wanted to go back to Seminyak. So she messaged back that the townhouses were - big, busy and stupid. Bear in mind this is a 15 year old girl saying this. I said there must be something good about it and she replied it is big and flash but she likes small hotels. I told her that it might grow on her so I will be interested to see how the next couple of days go. I am sure it won't be long before she knows some of the people in Poppies as well and will change her mind. I told her to go to Waterbom today and have some fun. I think she was suffering the Ubud blues.
I'm staying there also in December so I wanted her opinion. I will wait and see. If anyone sees two girls and their dad there say hello for me.
