i spend a month a year plus in the area,Bualu/Nusa Dua..its beaches are the cleanest Geger Beach my fav and close to home,the air clean,and shopping at sogo and the other boutiques are full of beautiful things same price as seminyak really ..its just not so busy and full of pubs..but great places to eat ..warungs are great my fav is Bu Karyadi...great meal for about $2.50 you really have everything without the crowd...so nothing sterile about N.D. just even more relaxed...try it sometime.
