If you definitely wish to stay i suggest you email back and ask them if they will accept AU$220 per night for a confirmed booking of a 9 night stay including taxes and everything else they normally offer with the villas.
If the answer is no, and Ubud interests you, then i'll pass onto you details about my secret spot (Secret until i return in April and then anyone can know lol)
It is a new villa, 3 large bedrooms, driver to anywhere in Bali for 8 hrs per day, private swimming pool with an area for children, breakfast, wireless internet, satellite tv, dvd and cd sound system, free bottled water, free bicycles, 24 hr staff, 24 hr security, loan of a mobile phone, for AU$225 including taxes.
Babysitting is at a small extra charge
Has had good reviews and the owner sounds lovely.
