they are on the other side of the bypass from the beach. If you google Sanur in google maps, you will see that Jl Sekuta runs kind of parallel to Jl Bypass Ngurah Rai. We sometimes stay at another little hotel in that area. We like it because it is not surrounded by tourists, a very quiet area. You will need to cross the bypass for most restaurants (although there are a couple of warungs on that side)and you will come out on Jl Sindhu, walk straight down to the beach. There is a very good warung opposite Kayu Manis in Jl Sindhu if you get tired on the way to (or from) the beach. I have not eaten at Kayu Manis, but have heard good reports. We looked at the menu, it looked nice.
There is a very very good little kaki lima which is on the beach side of the bypass most nights which makes the most exceptional banana pancakes - they are close to the Jl Sindhu corner walk towards MacDonalds a little way.
