I got back from Bali today.
I paid $A77 to fly from Perth to Bali. To return to Australia, I paid $A52 to fly from Bali to KL and $A99 to fly from KL to Melbourne.
These flights were with Air Asia. Air Asia is trying to fly from Sydney to KL.
If Air Asia does start flying from Sydney, I would expect promotional air fares.
I suggest that you wait.
