What "blowing smoke in someones face" has to do with the VIP service is beyond me.
So does the traveller who chooses to pay extra for additional comforts and "queue jumping" also include those who pay for the Prada etc lounges, express boarding, biz class and/or extra leg space??
There are many "extras" at additional cost available to travellers these days, and this is just one of them.
If the VIP service is impacting so heavily on the "normal" immigration services, then this would indicate that it has become very popular indeed, which speaks for itself.
Yours would appear to be a "dog in the manger" attitude, where you do not want to use the service yourself, and want to deprive others of the choice as a result.
Then again, I guess this can be expected from someone who encourages uncouth and disruptive behavior on an aircraft at the expense of others.
My mother will be more than happy to use the service at Xmas time given her frailties, and I and others will make a choice when the time is near....Ahhhh, CHOICE, now that's a refreshing concept.
