who hold their hands up in horror at the thought of being involved in what they have convinced themselves is an "illegal activity" are more than happy to be smuggling in a small extra something in their luggage and pay the bribe if caught.
If not that, they will be purchasing copy watches, DVDs, knock off clothing and pretty much anything that contravenes international copyright laws without a second thought.
Also no compunctions about paying small bribes to officials for riding motor bikes without helmets and/or licences or any other minor misdameanour.
The "slinging" of a few rupes to the guy at the luggage weigh-in counter is a given.
However, any mention of the dastardly VIP service is instantly frowned upon as being "shonky" (nothing to suggest that this is the case whereas most of the others are clearly shonky)
Hallo......half of what goes on in Bali is "shonky", that's one of the main reasons people go there.
