Friend booked for a week starting 28 Oct - could only handle one night before checking out. The resort is still under construction and is noisy with work all day; concrete/stone dust blows through the property constantly. Reception staff are choking and coughing on the dust.

The room was hot, with faulty airconditioning which could not be fixed - and it's evaporative, not refrigerated. Doors would not lock properly. Almost nowhere in the room to keep belongings apart from small wardrobe, but only 2 hangers provided. The lobby toilets are under construction and could not be used. Breakfast was very limited and of poor quality.

On the plus side, the staff are friendly and helpful and very aware of problems, which of course are completely out of their control.

Looks like the recent 'soft opening' was way too premature as the resort, while showing potential, seems to have been rushed into service before it can handle guests.

Locals also report that it has not yet been granted an operating permit (as of last week) and an industrial dispute is also simmering.
