we did the stop over in aug we had 5 hour wait we didn't like Jakarta at all.. but we did find little coffe shop at the airport near the domestic terminal that served food ,alcohol and you could smoke there and yes you pay your visa at Jakarta and straight through at denpasar our fight to dps was packed if that helps
