Bed Bugs live in all furniture especially cane,not just beds.
If you come up in welts you may be allergic to the Bugs bed or cane,if you are allergic you need to go on a strong anti histamines and anti histamine cream.This is sold at all Bali Chemists because it is so common.
Bed bugs can be picked up from furniture outside your hotel and hitch a lift back to your room or house back home in your luggage.
It can take quite a few days for the symptoms to show up,at first can be mistaken for small mozzie bites that erupt some days later.
Cane mites or bed bugs dont live on humans the just feed on them and then retreat.
We had to thow away our luggage through fear of bringing them home.
