If you take cash you can change very easily in Bali with no commission, no fees and good exchange rates. You can even pay your Visa on Arrival in Australian cash and get rupiahs in return change, sometimes you get Aus cash in return change. Or you could go to the post office and buy US dollars for your Visa, I personally believe that this is quicker when at the visa counter in Bali. You will have to buy $200.00 worth but this can easily be changed in Bali also, or keep until next trip. Take a credit card with you for any emergencies like hospital and take your atm card for extra cash if you run out. Remember when using atm's in Bali the card always comes out last and remember it's your bank that charges the fees.
