Without knowing what you like, and your budget, it is difficult to recommend, but you could try booking somewhere like Kori for Xmas lunch and then wander to the beach for a couple of drinks at one of the beach bars for something different.
Other options, depending on budget are:-
La Lucciola
Ultimo
Living Room
Uns
Ketupat (for Indonesian fare)
Many other options to consider.
We have found that a few cheap novelty things from Red Dot or $2 shop can provide a lot of fun, and locals love to see us celebrate our religious occasions although of course we are only amateurs compared to them when it comes to that sort of thing.
