As sharon has said not all places have that rule and the most I remember reading it is in travel brochures that wholsale properties thorugh travel agents.

Some full service airlines use 12 as the age to determine whether a child or adult fare applies, though on low cost carriers this is not an issue as all seats are the same tarrif.

I think you will only have an issue if you book through a travel agent but if you book direct, in my experience they "sell the room", and are not focussed on the age of the guests.

Perhaps if you are worried, just make sure you refer to "three children" in your emails/phone calls to the properties you are interested in.

We have only ever handed over one of adult's passports to register.
