yes, I wanted the genuine sea salt not the processed type which you buy in the supermarket. I bought some from the local women who sell by the roadside when we were leaving Amed, a 1kg bag for 10,000 but I ended up using at least 3/4 of it as gifts for the girls I work with. I bought some of the green pottery little cups with frangipanis on them at Ubud markets & filled them with the salt when I got home. Great gift idea but left me with only a 1/4 bag of my salt LOL. I did want to visit the fish market at Jimbaran as we'll be staying in Balian for Christmas & need to buy seafood for a BBQ on Christmas Day so thanks for that info too. Can you tell me where the early morning market at Legian is located?
