Are not so good on Lembongan. There is Mushroom Beach which supposedly is the "best" beach on Lembongan but you have to compete with daytrippers from the big boats, smaller boats and other people staying around. Tanis Villas is where we stayed and there were some families staying there. Some of the rooms were air con but in ours there were so many gaps that the aircon had a hard time keeping up. The pool was small but clean and not usually too crowded. The atmosphere and service at Tanis was pretty good. It was one of the cheapest places to stay on Mushroom Beach.
A few other beaches on the island looked nice but were perhaps not the safest for children - rips and things.
