We have just returned from staying at Beach Melati Apartments last week. The staff are excellent, our apartment was well furnished, the location is great and the coffee shop is good for a meal. We stayed in Apartment 202 upstairs next to the new Ramada Resort. The main air conditioning unit for the resort is within 5 metres of the apartment's outside window, my sons sleeping in the second bedroom found the airconditioning unit very noisy. Other guests who were still at the apartments had shifted from 202 when their apartment on the ground floor became available also found the noise from the Ramada annoying. Having said that inside the rest of the apartment the noise was not that noticeable and on the outside balcony overlooking the pool we could not hear it all.
