You could consider Amed, where many places are on the "beachfront", although the "beach" is most likely a stoney rather than sandy expanse.
However, this is somewhat compensated for by watching the fishing boats activities early in the morning, and the sun rising over Rinjani - Lombok.
Snorkelling is also good on the "beach".
The downside is getting there (3 hr drive approx), and the associated cost, although many places will pick up at the airport depending on the length of stay.
You could look at Puri Wirata, Apa Kabar, Blue moon etc etc (look at Amed in archives)
Further south, beachfront either doesn't exist in the truest sense, or is extremely expensive where it does.
