Have done it once when a special was on. Etihad started in brisbane with 2 for one. Flew Singapore with Etihad, onto Phuket with jetstar (was lucky to get another special) and then Garuda from Singapore to Bali. Don't think we would do it again too much time sitting around airports waiting for connections.
