I have read before that some people see how many other flights are due to land at the same time as you. This will let you know if it would be worth while to go with VIP VOA. You can only view up to 3 days ahead though, so not sure if you need to book your VIP with more notice.
Personally I have never used and never will. I would rather spend my Roops on myself. I have the patience of a saint.
From our experience of travelling overseas recently with a 1 year old, we were sent to the front of the line along with other people travelling with kids. This happened in Hong Kong, Heathrow and Rome!! I don't know if this happens at the Bali airport as I have never travelled with kids there, though will do no doubt at some stage. Recent posts have said people are getting through quite quickly even being so busy.....some say 25mins.
