The Teka Teki House is around 200 meter from main road Jalan Royal Seminyat in a quiet residential area on the way to the beach area. Several observations;
First is that the place is kept in immaculate condition. The room I stayed in was everything worked well. The house is gorgeous, spacious and well appointed. The bathroom is great - the first separate shower I have seen, and not one of those dreadful hand-held things which are meant to slot into something on the wall, but which never work properly!
Second, there are some great services included such as welcome gift made from orphanage; free coffee and Tea; free breakfast (you can eat what you want....select from the menu and all is prepared for you to eat either in your room or in the garden); free booking of transportation to and from airport.
Third, everyone is super friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done quickly and efficiently.
If you want to be in the centre of town close to everything, this is not the place to stay...but if you don't mind a 30-45 minute walk by the beach to Kuta.
Tiny complaint: It's quiet at night and many stray dogs around the house. It didn't matter really, because Taxis come within minutes and cheap if you don't feel like walking.
Wonderful experience, great place, sincere staff, good price @ IDR200, 000 with aircon and 60 channels TV. A real find! If you want a different experience in Bali, book at the Teka Teki House - truly wonderful!
