Just last month had quite a nasty accident in Seminyak, and travel insurance direct were FANTASTIC. I was extremely distressed when I received my bill from BIMC, which included treatment costs, x-rays, consultation with orthopaedic surgeon etc, but to my suprise, all I had to pay BIMC was the $100 excess charge- travel insurance direct had already covered all the other costs. They also organised business class flights for my son and I to come home early (we had already booked business class and there was no word from them at all about shifting us to economy to get home sooner) AND they paid the cost of our new return flight.
After my accident, I emailed them and someone called me at the hotel within an hour. They organised everything. No questions. No paperwork. No receipts. I couldn't believe how easy it was. Highly recommended by me! :-)
