Hi all, been back almost a week now; below is my 6 days in Bali! Prob not that much of an exciting read but I love reading all yours so here goes!!

Flew over on Garuda from Perth at 0715hrs (myself and a friend, both early 20's), Waiting til 9am before our first vodka (only bad thing about sitting up the front was having to walk to the back for booze!) straight off the plane and at VOA before they were even ready for us, only gripe was waiting about 20mins for luggage.
Perfect Bali weather on arrival, and stayed that way until the morning we left when it POURED, didn't mind tho as we were leaving (...)
Our room at the Niksoma wasn't quite ready, but any excuse for a cocktail while waiting!
Can't fault the Niksoma at all, lovely rooms, staff, food and pooltime, perfect location for what we were after (sun, relax, sun, with abit of food and booze)..
Parents had already been over for 2 weeks (staying at the Kumala Pantai), caught up with them most nights at dinner and to remind me of the good shopping spots..
Ate at Zanzibar, has gone down hill from previous visits.. Lanai, lovely! Kumala Pantai was average, Bubbagump was a first time experience, will go back next time.. Some miiiiighhhty huge burgers were had by all at Indonational on Sunday arvo) after a very big Saturday night, YUM..
Ku-De-Ta for dinner was unbelievable! I can not say a bad thing about here, cept we missed the whole sunset due to getting caught up in shopping.. Probably on par with the best meal i have ever eaten in my life!
A few good nights with food, arak attacks and laughs were had at The Flying Piano..

Spent one whole day by the pool, only left the hotel for a massage, went to Inner Glo (outside Niksoma) and Briella outside Kumala. Much preferred Briella, BEST massage, pedicure and reflexology.. Parents were here daily, the girls loved them! Managed to make the sun most arvos, however my Bali tan is fading already hehe

Spent most of our last arvo power shopping as we forgot about it! Miss Debbies, always a winner, easy, hassle free shopping (got shirts, cushion covers etc). Bought a gorgeous ring from a silver place on Legian St, a few nice sandals (they're more up with the fashion this year), heaps of tshirts for my 1yo nephews, mostly DC & Quicksilver, struggled to find nice designs, hunted but succeeded! Usual DVDs, dresses, etc. Most of the bags were way to OTT for me, managed to settled on a nice black LV creation (...)
The boys in the stalls were always a good laugh, made plenty of new boyfriends they're so much fun - plenty of giggles wondering past them every day, had to buy some fake Pandora for 15000 just so they'd leave us alone. Ended up not wearing the bracelet as we just hassled so so much. Forgot to grab Silverberrys location before we left, found it on our last arvo however were way too over it all by then.
Matahari and Discovery were much the same, cept had our feet eaten by Fish in Matahari, was.. uhh.. interesting. Pretty sure our squirming didn't attract too many new clients , sorry, it wasn't *that* bad, tingly bubbles that jsut felt so wrong if thats a possible description!

That is probably about it (its quite long actually, sorry!!) Was a quick trip but just what was needed. Heading back over in Feb and staying at Bali Garden. Looking forward to it and exploring kuta a bit more as I've always stayed in Legian.
