was 2 rooms - kids 2 beds that were themed and had a boat shape around them still single size but made it fun, own bathroom etc with chair and table and beanbag and access to veranda. Our room had big comfy chair with footrest and long desk area with chair and king bed, small bathroom but doesnt bother us.
Compared to Patra well, yes patra does have sitting area with table and chairs and lounge area so more "living area" at patra because of furniture in deluxe suites, However we checked out the suites opposite our room, by the way our access to the pool took 30 seconds if that, not facing pool but garden at back which was nice, but the room we checked opposite us is similar to Patra Deluxe suites, it was room 1112 and it had powder room (toilet) with sitting area with desk/chair Big plasma on wall coffee table and lounge which folded out to double bed, then corridor pass wardrobe into large king bedroom with desk big plasma and massive massive seperate toilet (2nd) and huge seperate bathtub and shower which all is full glass onto bedroom, this room opens to porch with comfy cushions chairs with steps down to lawn and into pool, the lounge room opens up to porch aswell, this is a great room, its on ground floor and 2 other levels up. I think it was called a baruna suite will have to check my notes, but its not cheap but i think worth the money, we roughly paid $300 a night (yes lots) but we loved it, so new and modern and facilities, for your 12yr old there is a "zone" for her age which she can get on net etc, there is icecream (tepenade bar), they make your icecream with your fillings, oh my god snickers icecream!! We love the patra and still think it is great resort but we tried Baruna for 8 nights and wish we stayed longer as we also tried hard rock for 3 nights and that was same money for loft suite for 3 queen beds with one in mazzanine, now one pokey tv etc...fantastic pool. not a patch on Baruna, they have really done a great job with hotel...if you want more info just ask, we are going back Jan 14th, i booked online with priority club, oh the breakfast, you sit at your table and there is a booklet, you choose or say tick pancakes or waffles, eggs how you want them fried etc and with bacon etc, they take to egg station and get for you, no ques, cappucino machines - a staffed fresh fruit juice bar, amazing.....like i said worth it....cheers lisa
