I've noticed quite a few pool bars at different hotels, on my last 2-3 trips haven't been operating at the pool, you can sit at them and the main bar may bring drinks to you by the pool but not actually from the pool bars. Could be because of the downturn in tourists, the lack of alcohol or the damn flies that hover round the sticky bottles or even the lack of toilet breaks for some guests. I guess the lack of alcohol and the downturn in tourists has turned around so maybe they will open them up again.
