What a great trip had an absolute ball.
Coolangatta to Melbourne via Tiger Airways was the only problem as plane was 2hrs late leaving only 20 min to get to Virgin Pacific almost did not make it . The ground staff at Coolangatta phoned ahead and arranged an escort through the formalities and made it with 3min to spare . Good flight to Denpasar no ques on imigration and VOA out of airport in 15 minnits Courtosy pick up from the Casa Padma hotel .
Was given room 201 not recomended too much noise from the Legien Pub across the road moved to 308 and all was well.
Usual shopping over the next 7days and a very good trip up to
Cheluk for some specialty silver shopping .
Yutzs for most meals as well as local warungs all good . Tryed La Monde not impressed thought there is a lot better for the price.
Had a private party at Club rendezvous in Jl Padma Utara Peter the owner rented the 2nd Floor out to us of the nightclub for a very reasonable rate and provided security a band nibblies and drinks at very good prices . We had about 30 friends over for the wifes
Birthday party and all had a fabulos time.If any one wants to contact them for a similar funtion I have left my email open and will give contact details if you want. Rest of the trip went pretty fast just more shopping and catching up with friends Exchange rate was good
Trip back was uneventful and we are now looking forward to March to go back . Casa Padma Hotel was ok but will be happy to be back at the Jayakarta in march but as the cost of that is riseing pretty fast
we might stay elsewhere after march.
