In mid June I found the heat more than a bit irksome, mainly late in the day. But the mozzies were a huge pain. The gorgeous outdoor pavilions, bales & bathrooms do tend to be mozzie magnets, especially as our villa overlooked rice fields. Stunning, constantly delightful vista but a perfect breeding place for mozzies.
The staff sprayed the aircon bedrooms (beds with nets) & outdoor bathrooms, lit mozzie coils but they were still a problem, and that was in mid-dry season.
Friends just back from a villa at Le Jardin said the same.
