High temp, sweats, headache (like a migrane mine was), rash, blister (where bitten) and aching joints all over and I mean all over..........and that sick feeling too.......maybe even vomiting.
I know cause I had all these bar the rash when I came back from Bali in 2003. The blister I had was HUGE and as soon as I saw it I smothered it in Betadine. I was tested for everything and in the end my Doc said I had a 'strain' of dengue aka "Break Bone Fever"......
I was load up on penicillin and sent to bed for the week and told not to go outside so I didnt get a mozzie bite and in turn give it to someone else.
Took me a good couple of months to come good.
Never wish it upon anyone, though I did lose my post Bali kgs ;)
