Indonesia your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
You can be under 6 months validity when you depart Indonesia. I have done this and also my husband. Australia doesn't have the 6 month validity requirement to re-enter, and Bali immigration don't query it. My husband flew back to Australia earlier this year with only 4 months validity on his passport.
