we stayed at jayakarta for 2 weeks in early august. advertised as a 4 star hotel, in reality almost a 3 star. we confirmed 2 adjoining ground floor rooms prior to departure and received 2 1st floor rooms non connecting. after interesting discussions next day received 2 ground floor rooms non connecting.rooms are advertised as 2 singles or 1 double bed, in reality, most rooms are 2 single beds and very, very difficult to be allocated a double bed. full buffet breakfast is interesting but after 2 weeks boring and little variety. there are renovations in FULL PROGRESS and one would be advised to inspect the allocated room before taking delivery. all in all,a passable 3 star hotel that i would not rebook.for variety and a rather interesting experience try the bali ayu at seminyak. reasonably priced,quiet,and a pleasant experience,although breakfast is a work in progress.
