have it done right now then you are best to have it done elsewhere, usually in your home country - Australia?
My own experience of not having surgery done here is possibly worth repeating. I developed a hernia and my NZ insurers wanted me to have it done her to save them money. I saw the surgeon who had no experience outside Bali and no post grad degree. Great.
My insurers got a quote. I refused to have it done here. They got another from Singapore.
I got on a plane and flew home to argue it out there.
The total price to have it done in Bali was to be NZD 7000.00 and in Singapore Sin$13000.00.
I had day surgury in NZ by a real surgeon and the insurer picked up the bill and my return airfare. Total cost including airfare NZD 6500.00
The other point is things can go wrong so easily even in a minor procedure and that is when you want good intensive care, which you just cannot get here.
Lastly, medicine is a restricted profession with only Indonesian citizens allowed to practice and the students are taught by people who have probably never been outside Indonesia. In Australia you can't become a specialist without post graduate degrees ususally from a country leading the field in that speciality. At medical school there will be staff not just from Australia but all over as in all developed countries.
As a consequence the teaching and the degree are a much higher standard.
