Hi
We are also staying at the Mandira next month - group of 16 for my son's 21st. We stayed there in June last year after 6 previous trips staying in the Tuban area - now wouldn't stay anywhere else. The best thing is location, location, Location - beachfront, beautiful gardens, plenty of sun lounges, 2 pools - some people say the pool is small but I felt it was more than adequate. Nice bar in the garden next to the pool, no swim up bar which I think is better anyway, and the breakfasts are fantastic. Walk out of the hotel and the shops and a number of great restaurants are within walking distance - no need for taxis.
Walk along the beach path in front of the hotel to some great restaurants up towards Seminyak.
We stayed in the tower rooms and will again next month. The rooms are clean, bedding changed daily, good air con which we actually didn't need during the night last June, free water supplied daily, Australian elcectrical plug so you don't need a converter. Nice balcony which overlooked the beautiful gardens.
The bathrooms are smallish, no separate shower but always clean, some toiletries supplied. White fluffy towels changed daily.
I am very fussy about cleanliness etc but loved the Mandira and can't wait to get back there next month - 45 days and counting.
Any more questions, please ask.
Regards,
Carol
