yeah, I'm not sure why my post was deleted. I already got 1 offer though. FWIW last winter we spent on Samui in this house http://k1ngsize.wordpress.com/2009/02/11/new-house/
I payed 1200$ per month for it. It was really spacious, had a huge garden and a private swimming pool. As far as I know Samui is more expensive than Bali. So I don't understand why you are skeptical and why my budget is not realistical. But of course, I'm going to search when I arrive if I don't find anything over internet before.
