Just returned from Bali and stayed in Legian. We ate a few times at Warung Tropical which is basically right outside the Jayakarta. Our kids (7 in total) had a great time. The kids were up dancing with 'Eric' and the owner did magic tricks for them. Think you may have to pick the night though? They also took a group photo and put it up on their wall. Has typical indonesian food, great whole snapper but also pasta, chips etc if your kids don't like Nasi Goreng etc.
Also the restaurants along the beach strip pretty much cater for kids. Seaside has a varied menu and on their open air roof top, they play movies on a big screen. We also ate there a couple of times and the kids had a table to themselves while watching the movie which meant us adults could enjoy our dinner/drinks in peace!
Also took the kids to Jimbaran bay for sunset and they enjoyed having the chairs and tables on the sand and seeing all the live fish/lobster etc (didn't tell them that they were about to be put on the chopping block for our dinner though!). As other posters have mentioned, there's probably not any restaurants in Bali that don't like children!
Enjoy.
