Don't buy suitcases, they can weigh up to 6 kilos each. You can buy them at Matahari, Centro, Ramyana etc.., be careful as mostly they are copies and won't last very long. Although I have read on here that some people have purchased them and they are still going strong after many years.
Buy the material soft Bali bags, line them with garbage liners in case of breakage/rain. Tie the handles together once packed along with the over the shoulder handle for strength. Superglue the end zip pockets as you won't use them, use a lock on the middle opening zip. On your next trip you can fill it with donations to take over. You can even ask a tailor to strengthen the handles for you.
If you are leaving from Perth this October I have some things needed to be taken over as donations, have left email open, leave off the no spam. You can inspect goods before taking obviously.
