Hi does anyone know what is going on with Garuda?? We are due to leave to go to Paradise on Tuesday 8th Sept, I received a phone call from webjet today saying Garuda has cancelled our return flight on 24th Sept which was a direct flight back to Melb. They also told me that we could get on a flight on 23rd Sept via Jakarta but there would be a 10 hour wait at Jakarta for our plane back to Melb. I refused this as I booked and paid for direct flights. The lady from Webjet said Garuda has cancelled heaps of flights in the last two weeks?? We are still no wiser as the link with Garuda was down so we still don't know when we will be coming back and I was told we might be able to get a Direct Flight home on 25th Sept, this is good but more money in accommodation and it is still uncertain if this is going to happen. What happen here? I have been travelling to Bali for years and have never experienced anything like this. We will not know anything more until Monday (the day before we leave)?
