have worked in quite a few hotels in my time, in various countries including those that don't have pottable water from the tap, and every single case housekeeping rinse out glasses in the room (and occasionally dry them with the cleaning cloth)
Never heard of a hotel that washes the glasses in a dishwasher with hotwater and detergent for occupied rooms. Seriously doubt that would be available in Bali anyway. Not enough power. No-one washes dishes in hot water at home either - they don't have hot water to bathe in.
