seems a pretty strange response?
wish I could have told that to the folks in jogja who were killed and those who were made homeless 2 years ago when I went to work ont he clean up or -- the people in western java who were killed yesterday and others made homeless, they perhaps would disagree!
just because you have been on the edge of the earthquakes impact a number of times don't assume that being in the epicentre is nothing to worry about.
Bali , like all of indonesia is known as the most active geographical zone in the world with - earthquakes are happening everyday and yes some are minor and some are major. the next major one could be in Bali or it could be in Sumatra, it could be this year or it could be next year but rest assured that there will be one and many people will die.
I am not saying to be paranoid but at least be realistic or do you want to sound as silly as the people following the Bali bombing who were taken to hospital and were quoted as saying 'we thought we were in a third woorld country" duh - be aware of where you are travelling to and perhps more important than the price of a t-shirt could be some knowledge of the geographical acivity in the area.
