The orphanage is not badly set up... but there are some areas that need a bit of work.
Some bedding is required. The girls are getting older, and would probably love some pretty teen things... make up, hair ties, fashion magazines, clothes etc.
The boys are all about soccer, motorbikes and other manly type pursuits.
Did you realise that girls don't play soccer here? at all!! it was actually quite funny to watch the boys try to tone down the level of agressive play when Belinda jumped in to the fray!!
What the orphanage really needs at the moment, is a re-vamp of the main courtyard. Its very rocky, and the kids feet get a bit cut up when playing soccer or jump rope etc. I don't know how we would go about arranging it, but a re-surfacing, or large shipment of sand/dirt for the area would be a great plus.
Other ideas... new toothbrushes, flouride toothpaste, flip-flops (mostly size 8 for girls, and 10 for boys I think), and ummm... well really pretty much anything you can think of.
