We do not have star class from Perth so have not seen their seats. I did have cause to sit in the super economy or whatever on Virgin and it was just 3 economy seats with middle covered.

Actually, if I had the opportunity of grabbing seats in a sale (say, AirAsia $34 seats) I would grab three in row and stretch out that way. Heaps cheaper than Garuda b/c. I had an injury on my last trip and did just that, bliss!! Great food, great service, couldn't have been happier!

You do not actually say if you need a wheelchair but I would like to say that it is no good criticising an airline for the staff attitude who deal with wheelchair passengers. I had a very long chat whilst waiting for duty free to my (2) attendants in Perth and also one in Bali. They are contracted from the airport by the airlines. They are not airline staff and they work for several different airlines.

Luck on the day I would say. Also, yes you do embark first and disembark last for obvious reasons
