Your question is not very clear, you say foreign/half caste then foreigner on holiday. Indonesian law states children are the nationality of the Father regardless of place of birth. So if both parents are foreigner the child is citizen of their country. If Mother is Indo then it depends on the Fathers name on Birth Certificate. If father is listed as unknown then the chid is considered Indo. Otherwise the child follows the Fathers nationality. If Mother is foreign & Fathers name on certificate is Indo then child is Indo. Indonesia now allows dual citizenship for certain countries if one parent is Indonesian. Once the child turns 18 they must choose one nationality. My children hold both Australian & Indonesian passports. Australia allows citizenship to children, regardless of country of birth, as long as one parent is Australian citizen.
