I've flown Air Asia and fortunately the plane wasn't full so there was a spare seat next to hubby and I, it made all the difference. The seating is so tight and the leg room very restricted. The seats are not all that comfortable and hardly recline.

I chose to book with Jetstar purely because of this but the service on Air Asia is excellant. The hostesses are very pleasant and helpful, the meals are very cheap and much more delicious in comparison to Jetstar.

It all depends on what is important to you.

I flew Air Asia to Kuala Lumpur. On the return flight there was fog over Perth and we travelled to Melbourne then back to Perth - a huge divert. We were fed in Melbourne and on the plane at no cost so they do look after you but the extra travel was not great.
