The best designer handbag shop in Bali is in Sanur- Prada/Chanel/Hermes imported from Korea where they do a great copy job- $100 gets you an amazing current "it" bag. There are also some little boutiques stuffed full of designer items- chanel tees, gucci, etc spend time fossicking through their specials. Polo shops everywhere. Forget about massages on the beach- sandy dirty fingers- urgh. My travel girlfriend and I discovered the Mandurah Spa in Sanur last year. It is clean, professional, cheap, has lovely rooms, clean towels, nice garden setting out the back and cheerful people working there. The best massages/facials/cream bath and cheap= AU$10-15. Check hotel lobby for a brochure they do a free pick up taxi, you have to pay to get back but taxis are cheap. Off main street.
