Hi everyone!

Day 4 report..

We turned in early last night, after deciding that we would make our way to one of the restaurants on the beach side of the Discovery Shopping Centre for breakfast. I believe the restaurant we ended up was Bali Colada. Really great fruit juices, and the breakfast menu was interesting and reasonably varied. Good prices too, especially considering the major tourist vibe of the area. Belinda actually ate a full meal for the first time since we arrived!

We then browsed through Discovery SC for a couple of hours. It doesn't open till 10am by the way! Belinda dropped into one of the many optometrists and ordered a couple of new glasses. Great price for original designer frames. I believe she paid around $550 all up for two pairs. One sunglasses, the other transition lenses.

Then we dived into a cab... today was my final ditch effort to find some clothes that would fit me!

We eventually ended up at Divine Diva.. good range of cheese cloth type shirts. Nice and light, good colour range, and I splurged a bit. 10 tops for about $150.00.

Belinda and I had walked halfway across Legian, diving over and around the chopped up (and in regular places nonexistant) footpath, so we were grateful when we finally got into a taxi for the trip back to our hotel. We were so stuffed, we paid for the extra 10 minute trip for a drop off at the hotel lobby, rather than being left at the Jl Legian side of Poppies II.

The traffic was really really bad today. All the footpath work throughout Seminyak - Kuta is causing havoc.

Anyway, back at our hotel, we quickly stripped off, dived into the pool, and soaked our feet. We then grabbed a pair of scissors and chopped our 3 day old braids off!!!!

They made my scalp itchy!!! And it was really hard to wash your hair properly.

So there Belinda and I are.. ragged braids draped around us as we slowly try to unweave them. We eventually gave up and shoved big hats on our heads, and walked up Poppies II to a salon. The name escapes me, but we'll be back tomorrow, so I'll be sure to post it.

Braids removed, manicure, pedicure, massage and a really lovely hair treatment and we are feeling much more human!!! 30k each for the mani and pedi. 70k for the braid removal, hair treatment and massage.

Tomorrow we are back for more of the same, and *cough* real hair extensions minus the braiding. I got used to having long hair!!

Now we are all dressed up and heading out for dinner!

Will let you know all about it tomorrow.

xxx
Becky
